Agate is usually formed as nodules in volcanic rocks or ancient lavas. They traditionally have brown tones but are often dyed to reveal unseen intricacies inside the rock.
Please keep in mind these are natural specimens so color variances are to be expected. These specimens are hand painted with metallic acrylic paint to achieve a faux gilded look.
