• The Japanese flying squid, Japanese common squid or Pacific flying squid is a squid of the family Ommastrephidae. This animal lives in the northern Pacific Ocean in the area surrounding Japan along the entire coast of China up to Russia, then spreading across the Bering Strait east towards the southern coast of Alaska and Canada. They tend to cluster around the central region of Vietnam
• You will receive a specimen similar to the reference specimens. These are natural specimens so slight variations in positioning and color may occur
• These paperweights are a perfect way to explore these fascinating specimens from every angle without worrying about harming the specimen
• Different batches may have a slight yellow tint, but this will not affect the visibility of the specimen. Keep out of UV light to prevent further yellowing
