Description

• The cave nectar bat, Eonycteris spelaea, is a species of small bat that forms compact clusters in forests and agricultural areas and is known to cohabit with other bat species
• The upper-part of the Cave nectar bat are grey to dark brown. The underparts are paler and the neck is sometimes yellowish brown. The muzzle of this bat is elongated, and particularly adapted for drinking nectar. These specimens are fragile and should be handled with care
• You will receive three lesser dawn bat specimens similar to the reference specimens. Please keep in mind that these are natural specimens, so variations and small imperfections are to be expected
• All preserved life is ethically and legally sourced
• Spread specimens can range in size from approximately 8-9″ tall, 11-12″ wide and roughly 1-1.5″ deep and hanging specimens 4-6″ tall and 2-3″ wide measured from the longest possible points
